U.S. Military Veterans Defending Sioux at Standing Rock against Militarized Police
Possibly the most important civil rights attorney of our time, Danny P. Sheehan, co-cousel in exposing the Pentagon Papers - corruption in the Vietnam War; special counsel on the Watergate Burglary Case; filed lawsuits in the Karen Silkwood plutonium case; represented victims in the Three-Mile Island nuclear disaster; etc. , is now representing the Sioux Nation in the present Standing Rock conflict for sacred Native land.
The oil industry in cahoots with many multi-national bank corporations are attempting to remove the Sioux from their ceremoniously precious and sacred land that has been theirs longer than the white man has recorded information on the Sioux.
Danny Sheehan, in this UPDATE video (8 minutes 3 seconds) on the current progress on the situation, informs us that 1,000 - 2,000 military veterans are now on their way (and we expect more) to protect and defend the Sioux against the ongoing violence at the hands of militarized police forces.
